Pali Text

The PTS translations of the Pali Canon are used extensively as source
material for study of the Buddha's teaching. The Society was founded
in 1881 by T.W. Rhys Davids " to foster and promote the study
of Pali texts ". It publishes Pali texts in roman characters,
translations in English and ancillary works including dictionaries,
concordance, books for students of Pali and a journal.
Buddhist Publication Society

The BPS, founded in Sri Lanka in 1958, is an approved charity dedicated
to making known the teaching of the Buddha. BPS publications represent
the standpoint of Theravada Buddhism, the oldest living Buddhist
tradition whose Pali Canon gives us the most authentic account of
what the historical Buddha himself actually taught.

Access to Insight is an Internet website dedicated to providing
accurate, reliable, and useful information concerning the practice
and study of Theravada Buddhism, as it has been handed down to us
through both the written word of the Pali Canon and the living example
of the Sangha.
Buddhist Society

Founded in 1924 by Christmas Humphreys, the Buddhist Society
is one of the oldest Buddhist societies in Europe and publishes
the excellent Buddhist Directory. It's objective is to make known
the principles of Buddhism and to encourage the study and practice
of those principles.
